Steampunk Mail Love

What does this last little series of pictures mean? Well it is something called a rebus and you may remember them from your youth. Anyways they combine to make the message "steam punk mail love". I thought it was clever to put this on the back of these postcards that went out to all the members of the group called "Mail Love". The idea behind the group is that we have to send something everyday in the snail mail to someone from the group. (We follow a list and when we reach the end we start over.) It is supposed to last for a year and at the next Florida retreat Elena will have a special project for us to preserve our year's worth of love. It's so nice to receive little handmade (or not) thoughtful tidbits in the mail instead of junk and bills.

Oh I love all your steam punk art -- especially that you have worked the female side into it so well and often. It will be of great inspiration to me as I try this new art experience. And I'll be back soon to peruse your whole blog.
Thanks so much.
