Time for Spring Planting

This is another card I have done for everyone that participated in the monthly techniques swap on ATC World. (The technique for March was punches.) I designed the seed packet on my computer and mounted it on lime green card stock that I stamped with polka dots. The flowers and leaves are shaped with stylus tools before they are put together to give them a 3D shape. The centers of the flowers are micro beads that have been painted over with a mix of Diamond Glaze and Tim Holtz Distress ink. (Walnut Stain.)

Here are some more postage stamps to add to your collection. Again there are only 3 images because these are larger files. (They are sized for an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet at 150 DPI.)

Something Fashionable From Something Free (part 2)

I had to make another set of necklaces because once I posted them on the swap list everyone wanted one and they signed up to play in the swap. I made 20 necklaces in the first set and I only had 13 people signed up so I figured that I wouldn't get 7 more to sign up. Well I was wrong... I got 16 more people that signed up. So I made 14 more necklaces so that everyone will get a necklace that participates. Hopefully I won't have to make anymore because I have other things I gotta make. (SIGH!) I guess I shouldn't complain about being in demand. LOL!!!

I love the old crate labels so here are a few of them that have really good graphics on them. I especially LOVE the Atom brand with the boxing bunny on it.

What's In My Drawer's? (It must be Wednesday)

Click on the pictures to see a larger view.

This is my drawer of self adhesive rhinestones. I have another storage container full of the nice austrian crystal rhinestones too. I just can't seem to get enough of this kind of bling. (I just ordered about $80.00 worth of the austrian crystals.) I buy them in all kinds of colors and sizes and I especially love to color clear stones with alcohol ink.

This is full of all my "German Scrap" or some call it "Dresden Scraps" so am not sure which one is more correct. I love this stuff too, especially in white, so I can color it myself with alcohol inks or "Polished Pigments".

Always An Artist

I finished my "bio" page for the circle journal yesterday and finally mailed it off on it's 14 month adventure. So hard to think that I won't see all the pages for this journal for that long. I know I will get to see pictures of it along the way but it's not the same as holding it in your hands and turning the pages.

Each of the one of the tags pull out of it's pocket and has journaling on it to describe how I am each aspect of "me." Underneath you can see close-ups of each tag. (I know you all want to read them.) The pockets are colored with Moon Shadow Mists which I just love. The lettering is done with a "Dymo" label maker and then I use a 1/4" hole punch to punch out each letter. To finish it off I went to town using my sewing machine to add a few more accents of black.

Probability Clock

I finished this a couple of days ago but thought it still needed something else so I left it for a few days and came back to figure out it needed a few more gears here and there. Anyways this card is for Tracy Kaufman in exchange for an awesome card she made a duplicate of for me. I fell in love with the original one when it came in for a swap and I had to have it. So Tracy... I hope you are happy with your "Probability Clock". It kind of works like a "Magic 8 Ball" does. You make a wish or ask it a questions then you spin the hand on the clock face. Whatever number it lands on is the number of times you move the wheel. Whatever percentage it lands on is the probable number that your wish will come true.

Well I really have no words for some of these costumes. The first few are pretty cute but...Is that a banana in your pocket or are you just glad your not around to see that picture?

A is For Aster

I did this a few days again and I forgot to post it because I was in such a hurry to mail it. I almost forgot to scan it and had to run out to the mailbox and grab it before the mail lady showed up. (She was there about 10 minutes later.)

Anyways this is for a swap on my Yahoo ATC list called "Alphabetical Order." Each month everyone does a 4" x 4" card with the chosen letter and mails it to a partner. I am planning to do all of mine as punchart flowers but I foresee some problems with certain letters of the alphabet. (I may also get bored with doing flowers for the whole alphabet too.)

I love all things "asian" so I have a big collection of Chinese and Japanese calligraphy. These make great backgrounds for any kind of art with an asian theme. ENJOY!
